Romanian Ministry of Environment: extension of the ban on sturgeon fishery

A few days ago the Romanian Ministry of Environment, published on its website the draft Order on measures for recovery and conservation of sturgeon populations in the natural habitats. The Minister of Environment and the Secretary of State within the Ministry of Agriculture had an intervention at the ProTV channel. The Minister of Environment stated in this reportage “We are obliged to extend the ban on these species. We saw that this decision, extended several times so far by Romania, had positive effects on the sturgeon population. “ Citizens and interested institutions can send opinions / proposals / suggestions, within 10 days from the date of publication, to the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests”
