EAS 2022 “Sturgeon conservation and restoration” session report

In the EAS 2022 meeting in Rimini, 27-30 September, a session dedicated to sturgeons (Sturgeon Conservation and Restoretion) was held. Attendance was remarkable with over 40 people attending the eleven presentations. At the end of the session, a discussion / round table was held on the critical issue and benefits of collaboration between breeders and conservationists, in light of the differences in methodologies used in the two sectors, which in the end are often many points of common interest. Here too the participation was remarkable with over 25 people who stayed for over an hour and a half until the closing of the Palacongressi. A summary of the topics covered is shown in the annex.
