New progress in research on the whole genome of sturgeons

On September 5, 2019, the Conservation of Endangered Fishes (CEF) of the Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences published the world’s first paper on the whole genome of sturgeon in the international journal “Frontiers in Genetics”. The whole genome of the Sterlet was sequenced, assembled and annotated.
